In 2006, for the second year in a row I was invited to design the print pieces for the Low Income Housing Institute’s annual auction and banquet.
The image in this save-the-date postcard is a letterpress print that I did using wood type (turned face up as well as face down), and stencils cut and inked by hand. I then scanned the print, created the type in Photoshop, and delivered an electronic file to press for off-set printing.
